Executive Support Officer (HR) – Maternity Cover (fixed term contract until 31 December 2025)

Salary: - EVH Grade 7 - £39,072 – £42,903 + final salary pension scheme Working Hours: - 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day - Monday to Friday - 60% workplace attendance normally expected each week with the option to work the remainder remotely - Occasional evening and weekend working required - The Association operates a Flexible Working System

East Lothian Housing Association is a growing organisation that builds and manages a wide range of homes within East Lothian.  Our subsidiary repairs and maintenance company, R3, provides services to our tenants as well as a wide range of other customers in the housing association, private and commercial sectors.

We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated Executive Support Officer to provide cover for Maternity Leave.

Job Role

Our Executive Support Officer (HR) is responsible for supporting the work of our Senior Management Team (SMT) and our Management Committee / R3 Board in our management of the ELHA Group of companies.  This involves corporate responsibility for administering and providing general advice on Human Resources (HR) services, as well as a variety of administrative tasks such as arranging and facilitating meetings, but also involves undertaking projects and specific pieces of work for the Senior Management Team.

Requirements of the Post

You will need either a CIPD Certification in People Practice or similar experience within an HR environment.

As a member of our SMT, this role will place you at the heart of a business with a growing reputation as one of the best housing associations in Scotland.  You need to be well organised, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be used to dealing with sensitive / confidential information.  You will also have a proven track record in an Executive Support role.
