Our Money & Home Energy Advice Service is a free, confidential, service we provide to our tenants and members of their household. Andrew, our Money & Home Energy Adviser, provides information, practical assistance and support wherever appropriate to:
- Help tenants access any benefits they may be entitled to
- Built a budget with the tenant to make the most of their money
- Check that the tenant is on the right energy tariffs for their heating type, household composition and property type
- Perform a financial 'health check', even if the tenant isn't in any debt
- Give advice on any aspect of welfare benefits and home energy
If you have any concerns about benefits, utility bills or debt or would just like to speak to Andrew about your finances or energy efficiency, please get in touch with your Housing Officer, or fill in one of the referral forms in My Home. Andrew will be happy to help via telephone, in the office or a home visit.
